SPOILER: NO! - So, what DID happen?
Prof. Hans Braun claims that Israel bombed Tartus on 12/16 with a "miniature atomic bomb" containing radioactive material, which is why increased radioactivity was recorded in Cyprus and Turkey after the attack.
He claims that "Israel conducted a test of a small tactical nuclear bomb in the city of Tartus in Syria".
This he explained by the high radiation level in Cyprus and Mersin and the recording of an earthquake in the area at the time.
A satellite image showed the disappearance of a part of the mountain about 70 meters wide, and tree leaves evaporated in a circle with a radius of about 1 km. According to the source, the goal was either to destroy something that was hidden there or simply to conduct a real test of a new bomb.
Israeli experts have denied these claims and said that what the professor seems not to have taken into account is the possibility that Israel bombed a completely conventional weapons depot that may have stored radioactive elements.
