Israeli PM, and a host of other Israeli politicians have said for years that Iran would not get a nuclear bomb. The US government said the same. Good news? Now with Hezbollah hit so hard, another worry of the Israelis is off the shelf.
IRAN INTERNATIONAL -- "In the past, had Israel considered bombing Iran, it faced the prospect of Hezbollah in Lebanon reciprocating, but with Hezbollah weakened, Israel can attack Iran directly without the same threat to its north," Reuters reported citing a US official.
Hezbollah's breakdown points to a growing gap in Iran's military capacity and raises doubts about its ability to use its proxies to attack Israel and its other adversaries in the short term, the report added, citing American officials.
