Yesterday, Israel attacked what remained of Syria's strategic military arsenal, as its attacks were carried out on various areas in the Tartus province in northwestern Syria.
And these are some of the more interesting targets that were attacked yesterday:
• 23rd Brigade of Syrian army air defense. Attacked were: the brigade's headquarters, its batteries and warehouses where ballistic missile launchers were stored, WHICH WERE HIDDEN IN FACILITIES DUG UNDERGROUND DEEP IN THE MOUNTAINS.
• 107th Coastal Defense Brigade in Jabalah, in addition, a modern facility for the production of ballistic missiles was attacked. According to estimates, this facility produced Iranian "Fatah 110" missiles.
• The headquarters of the 107th Coastal Missile Brigade in Tartus Governorate, which was completely destroyed in the Israeli attack.
Brigade 107 is one of the main formations in the Syrian army’s coastal defense system, and it included modern anti-ship missile systems, including the Russian “Bastion” system (K-300P), equipped with “Yakhonut” missiles. These missiles have a range of up to 300 km, a 200 kg warhead and a maximum speed of Mach 2.2.
This attack came as part of Israel’s repeated attacks on Syria’s military capabilities, including strategic sites used to develop ballistic missiles and air defense systems to prevent them from falling into the hands of the Syrian opposition that overthrew the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
