Social networks were busy on Monday with the news of the death of Hussein Shukar, because he is the nephew of Hezbollah's Chief of Staff, Fouad Shukar, who was killed by Israel in the southern suburbs of Beirut last July 30.
During the publication of the news, false information was spread around his death, while the real cause of death is not yet known.
What are the hypotheses presented?
*- The first hypothesis says that he was killed in the al-Uzai area as a result of an accidental shooting, when he happened to pass through al-Makhala.
*- The second hypothesis indicates that he was murdered in Syria or Lebanon. This hypothesis came after a series of Israeli attacks on Syria on Sunday night, which resulted in more than 18 deaths and over forty civilians were injured.
*- The third hypothesis, which was circulated, was that he was killed in an Israeli attack on southern Lebanon.
*- The news channel "Sabrin News" claims that Shukar was "murdered", while until this moment it has not been confirmed that Hezbollah members were killed in the Israeli strikes on Syria. In this context, the al-Mayadeen channel, citing what it called "reliable sources", revealed that in the Israeli aggression there were "five dead from the Syrian army, in addition to civilians, and there are no casualties from Iran or Hezbollah."
*- Al-Hadath channel reported on what the Lebanese media claim that Shukar was murdered "by a gunshot following a conflict that took place in the Ouzai area - Beirut, when Shukar happened to pass by the scene of the crime", while yet another report claimed there is "other information about his assassination in Syria", which left the death mysterious until now. So far, there has been no official announcement from the Lebanese army or the internal security forces about a casualty from the shooting in Al-Uzai.
