The headline of the "newspaper" distributed by the IDF in the Strip reads: "12/14 Funeral for the Spirit of Hamas." 

Other texts were written to remind the residents of the Strip who is responsible for their suffering: "In one year of war, Hamas inflicted unprecedented destruction on Gaza following its crazy ideas. Hamas suffered enormous losses, and became a gang of flour thieves. This can be put to an end. Your future is in your hands - make a decision to live a better life, away from the enormous catastrophe that Hamas has brought upon you." 

These texts and leaflets are intended, among other things, to prevent Hamas's recruitment effort for new operatives for the ranks of its military wing. 

In recent months, as part of the organization's attempts to rehabilitate itself, it has been trying to recruit young men and boys, arm them with weapons, and even give them accelerated training - so that they can go out and attack IDF forces. 

Hamas is making efforts to recruit hundreds of new operatives, in all the battalions of the military wing that are trying to rehabilitate themselves. Israel is trying to stop this.
