Shin Bet head Ronen Bar presented the following figure to the ministers in the political and security cabinet: 82% of those released in the 2011 Shalit deal returned to terrorism.

Details of the data presented to the Cabinet today:

82% of those released in the 2011 Shalit deal returned to some form of terrorism - financing, dealing with terrorist funds, involvement, aiding, providing information, etc.

15% of those released in the Shalit deal carried out attacks themselves after their release in the deal, or planned the attacks.
