In recent days, there has been a real debate in Israel about how to respond to the Houthis' aggression - whether to act directly against them and be satisfied with that, or whether to also act directly against Iran, as recommended by Mossad head Dedi Barnea.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, as we reported last night, expressed reservations about the Mossad head's position and believed that direct action should be taken against the Houthis. "We will deal with Iran separately," the Prime Minister said.
Senior officials in his entourage added that his position was formulated, among other things, in light of the additional challenges Israel now faces, including the changes in Syria.
