Sergeant First Class (res.) Roi Sasson fell in combat in the northern Gaza Strip
The name of the fallen soldier, whose family has been notified, was cleared for publication

Sergeant First Class (res.) Roi Sasson, aged 21, from Mevaseret Zion, a soldier in the 90th "Nahshon" Battalion, Kfir Brigade, fell during combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
He was promoted from staff sergeant to sergeant major posthumously.
During this battle, the commander of the battalion, Lt. Col. Yoel Glickman, was seriously wounded, and was evacuated to hospital for medical treatment.
The circumstances of the incident, which occurred in the Beit Lahiya area, are still being probed by the military.
