The Chutzpah of Hamas knows no bounds as it calls on UK government to remove it from list of banned terrorist organisations.
The Palestinian Islamic group, which launched the bloody October 7 attacks on Israel, claims it is a “resistance movement” and poses no threat to the UK.
In a document shared with Drop Site, Hamas’ legal team summarised its legal arguments – claiming they are representing Hamas on a voluntary basis, as they are not allowed to accept payment under UK law.
The lawyers were quoted as saying: “Hamas does not deny that its activities fall under the broad definition of ‘terrorism’ under the UK Terrorism Act 2000.
However, it stresses that this definition also includes any group or organisation worldwide that uses violence to achieve political goals – including the IDF, the Ukrainian military and, indeed, the British military.”
