Documentation published in the last few minutes by Lebanese channels: IDF foot forces were observed at the tomb of the prophet Shimon in the village of Shema in southern Lebanon (a point located about 5 km from the border, in the western sector, in front of the settlements of Adamit, Ya'ara and Arab Al-Aramsha).
The forces were observed right on the roof of the tomb building.
(The prophet Shimon is a figure mentioned in both the Muslim tradition and the Christian tradition. In Christianity, he is called "Saint Peter" - Shimon ben Yochanan - one of Jesus' disciples)
At the same time as the documentation from the western sector, what is happening in the ground maneuver in the eastern sector:
Hezbollah published a message a short time ago in which it admits that IDF forces are in the eastern outskirts of the village of Talusa (the village is marked with red-white lines in the photo, west of Kiryat Shmona and Ramim Ridge).
Here too it can be seen that this is already the second line of villages - a distance of about 4.5 km from the border, one line after the villages of Merkaba and Khula where the IDF operated in the previous phase of the maneuver on the first line.
