Iranian member of parliament, Ahmad Nadari wrote last night on his X account the words no one in the Ayatollah regime wants to say:

"Syria is on the verge of collapse and we are watching calmly from the sidelines.

If Damascus falls, we will lose Lebanon and Iraq and we have to confront the enemy on our borders. We gave a lot of blood to protect Syria.

I don't understand the reason for this silence, but whatever it is, it's not in the best interest of the country. 

Something must be done before it's too late."
