Kelly Wright, the host of America's Hope, interviews George Gilder about Israel's technological innovations and their importance to the US and the world.
Gilder is considered the number 1 expert on future technology in the US after already predicting in the 1970s the change that chips would bring to the world and predicting the invention of the cell phone 13 years before its production.
Gilder talks about his book The Israel Test which discusses Israeli inventions and their contribution to the world. He says that the USA enjoys control of the technology market thanks to Israel, which provides it with the innovations and gives it the advantage in the international arena.
One of the examples he gives is the development of hypersonic missiles by China and Russia, which are very difficult to defend against. To deal with the threat they pose to the US and the entire world, Israel is developing new defense systems that operate at the speed of light. Therefore, according to him, the dependence between Israel and the USA is mutual - a situation that has existed according to him for 50 years.
Another example he gives is the development of irrigation systems that help deal with the water crisis around the world, and not just in the US.
Wright asks: Why does no one in the world talk about Israel's contribution?
Gilder says that one of the reasons stems from a Marxist ideology that sees every success as theft or a threat instead of a blessing, but investors actually know this and American investments in Israel have increased by 38% in the last year alone. Despite the war, investments in Israel are higher than anywhere else in the world.
