NEWSRAEL: In short - not only did the activists react to the 10/7 massacres - they were part of the plans!
A lawsuit filed Monday by leading Jewish organizations accuses several anti-Israel activist groups—including those at Columbia University—of having prior knowledge of the October 7 Hamas terror attack and collaborating with the terrorist organization both before and after the massacre.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the lawsuit names groups such as Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) and Within Our Lifetime (WOL), along with figures like Mahmoud Khalil, alleging that some activists were viewed by Hamas as operatives. The suit claims these groups reactivated their activities just before the attack and disseminated propaganda as the attack unfolded in southern Israel.
The legal action was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York by the National Jewish Advocacy Center, the Schoen Law Firm, Greenberg Traurig LLP, and the Holtzman Vogel Law Firm. Defendants include WOL and its leader, Nerdeen Kiswani; Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and its representative, Maryam Alwan; Columbia-Barnard Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and its representative, Cameron Jones; CUAD, and Mahmoud Khalil.
One striking claim in the lawsuit states that Columbia University’s SJP chapter reactivated its dormant Instagram account just minutes before the October 7 attack, hinting at future updates. Additionally, an Israeli hostage, as reported by *The Times of Israel*, recounted that his Hamas captors frequently boasted about their coordination with protesters at Columbia.
Among the named defendants, Khalil—a green card holder—was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) earlier this month and is currently facing deportation. Breitbart News has previously reported that anti-Israel groups at Columbia openly celebrated the October 7 attacks.
Across the U.S., numerous pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel activists have justified or even glorified the October 7 massacre, portraying it as a step toward the goal of expelling Jews from Israel—by genocide if necessary.
