The current attack in Beirut is different from its predecessors
The current attack in Beirut is different from its predecessors for 2 reasons.
1) There was no evacuation of the population from the attacked area, as the IDF spokesman in Arabic used to do until now.
2) The attack was carried out in the center of the city and not in the Dahaiah district (the southern suburb)
Israel has informed that the target of the attack in Beirut is a house that belonged to Hassan Nasrallah, the organization's secretary general who was eliminated last September.
The house was attacked in the past during the attempted assassination of Nasrallah in 2006 and has since been renovated and served as a significant center of activity for the organization.
Hezbollah media spokesman Mohammad Afif was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, according to Lebanese media reports.
