Iran is funneling hundreds of millions of dollars in cash it received from the Biden administration to Hezbollah to allow its continued existence.
"While many think that the visit to Lebanon by Ali Larrijani, the top aide to Iran's Supreme Leader, Khamenei, was to ensure that all Lebanese leaders remain under the full control of Tehran, the real purpose of the visit was for Rijani to refill Hezbollah's coffers with $150 million In cash" - this is what a Lebanese source claims according to knowledgeable sources.
"Members of parliament and political leaders of Hezbollah are sleeping in their offices next to the Lebanese parliament (where the photo below was taken), in Naima Square, to stay away from the fighting zone."
"Israel knows this but does not attack them out of respect for the state of Lebanon."
Larijani did meet with Hezbollah's political leaders in downtown Beirut.
In order to keep the organization fluid, so that it could continue to operate its troops, senior Iranian officials visited Lebanon, on average, once a month, even before Larijani.
Foreign Minister Arakji and Chairman Kalibef landed in Beirut in Iranian government planes loaded with dollars in cash, the same dollars that the Biden administration released and were intended to pay for the sale of Iranian energy to Iraq.
Larijani landed in Damascus and crossed by car to Lebanon because Israel forces every plane from Iran to Beirut to turn back.
Later in November, Hezbollah paid the displaced Lebanese from the south 300 dollars for a family of four and 100 dollars for a single adult from the Iranian money.
Note that the Iranians themselves are suffering from extreme poverty, their national currency is in freefall, while the Islamist regime of Iran is using money that is desperately needed in Iran, to finance its empire in the Middle East.
While Israel achieved its military goals in crushing Hezbollah, now the struggle is over while preventing Hezbollah from re-establishing itself with shipments of Iranian weapons (which the IDF is now preventing) and money.
It is clear that the money manages to slip into Lebanon. The IDF tried to convince the Lebanese state and army to take over and continue to starve the Hezbollah militia (meaning to enforce UNSCR 1701), but so far, it seems that the Lebanese state is not up to the task.
