The World Central Kitchen Organization fires 62 of its employees in the Gaza Strip after a security inspection with Israel.
Palestinian journalists report that WCK, which shut down its operations in Gaza two weeks ago in protest of the killing of some of its Gazan workers in an Israeli attack on 11/30, has announced that 62 of its Gazan workers will be fired after their names were submitted to a security check in Israel.
According to the organization, the presence of these workers could endanger the other workers in the organization (for fear of Israeli elimination), and therefore, unfortunately, it had to fire them.
NEWSRAEL: This comes after the world media and organizations blamed Israel for the death of "one of the WCK workers"...
62 employees of a leading international organization, with European and American support, failed a security check by the Shin Bet. What the report does NOT say is that they failed because they belonged or were working with Hamas. What does this mean for the distribution of food in Gaza?
