Here's the blueprint of how the IRGC plans to reassert its grip in Syria:

RECRUITING RELEASED HAMAS & HEZBOLLAH PRISONERS

The fall of Assad's prisons like Adra and Sednaya has unleashed a wave of militants, many loyal to Iran's cause. Hezbollah and Hamas members among them are being quickly folded back into Iran's operations in Syria

HAMAS IS BACK IN DAMASCUS

With Assad out, Hamas smells blood. Once ousted from Damascus to Qatar, they're now sprinting back, aiming to carve out power with the rebels, banking on Turkey's support. The irony? They're playing into Iran's hands.

REACTIVATE SLEEPER CELLS

Iran has long played the long game. Sleeper cells within the old regime's structures are waking up. The IRGC have 10 different known groups, one of them is Liwa al-Imam al-Hussein for example: A local Syrian militia created with Iranian support. The IRGC is using cultural religious Centers in Aleppo, Deir-ez-Zur and around Damascus like the Sayyida Zainab Shrine: A major Shia pilgrimage site, heavily guarded by pro-Iranian militias.
Right now, every shadow in Syria could be an Iranian operative.

Leaders of HTS and Turkey's allies are in their crosshairs. Iran's strategy is clear: decapitate the opposition's leadership. This isn't just about power, it's about terrorizing any semblance of order in Syria.

PROXY WARFARE FRAGMENTATION

By funding rival Sunni groups, the IRGC aims to fracture the new government from within.
Through chaos agents, they feed information to Kurdish factions to keep Turkey and HTS on their toes, and flame their rivalry by exploiting ethnic tensions.

THE GAMBIT

Iran is playing a double game, negotiating with Turkey behind closed doors. They're exploiting Erdogan’s fears of Kurdish autonomy to gain some leeway in Syria. Pay attention how Khamenei is pointing the blame to the Syrian chaos towards Israel and U.S, but he doesn’t even mention Turkey as having any part in what is happening in Syria. 

UNDERMINING HTS THROUGH GLOBAL POWERS

Using allies like Russia, China, and even Iraq, the IRGC is on a mission to paint HTS as the new boogeyman in international circles, hoping to isolate them. Since Qatar is now pumping NGO’s into Syria, the IRGC makes sure local agents will be hired to work for those ‘Humanitarian’ organisations. 

The Ayatollah's strategy is a masterclass in using chaos as a tool for control. Through proxies, assassinations, and diplomatic deceit, they're weaving a web of influence, with nations like Qatar and Turkey unknowingly playing their part.
