Archival footage of assassinated senior Hamas leaders, Haniyeh, Al-Arouri, and Sinwar inspecting rocket workshop in the Gaza Strip
On January 7, 2025, Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas) TV aired archival footage of assassinated senior Hamas leaders inspecting a rocket manufacturing workshop in the Gaza Strip.
The men are seen inscribing rockets and packing them with explosives. Hamas leader Isamil Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran on July 31, 2024, said that Hamas is “writing the annals of history and establishing the glory of the Islamic nation and this people.”
Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy chairman of Hamas political bureau, who was assassinated in Beirut on January 2, 2024, said that “this is a reinvigorated generation that took up arms is fully prepared. […] Our Lord will grant us victory and martyrdom together with you.”
Yahya Sinwar, who was killed in Gaza on September 16, 2024, Hamas leader in Gaza at the time and who succeeded Haniyeh as Hamas leader, said that Hamas’s number one priority in Gaza is to “draw up the plan for liberation and complete the preparations for it.”
