In an interview this evening (Thursday) with Moti Castel on Channel 14, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the dramatic airstrike by the Israeli Air Force in Yemen: "We're just getting started with them"
"We will not allow them to operate during these days, today and in the days to come. We will strike them hard until they learn their lesson."
When asked about removing the threat, Netanyahu said, "There are many concrete actions. I prefer to do more and talk less, but we are committed to eliminating this threat as we do in other arenas." He added, "The tentacles of the octopus are being severed one by one, and the octopus itself is being attacked.
We did not go through all this great Jewish history, from our ancestors through the kings of Israel, the Maccabees, and our return to our land, just for these ayatollahs and their proxies in the region to put an end to the Jewish story. That will not happen."
Earlier this evening, the Israeli Air Force conducted a series of strikes against the Houthi terrorist organization in Yemen. An IDF spokesperson stated: "Following plans approved by the Chief of Staff, the Minister of Defense, and the Prime Minister, Air Force fighter jets attacked shortly ago (Thursday), under the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate, terrorist targets of the Houthi terrorist regime along the western coast and deep inside Yemen.
The Houthi terrorist regime repeatedly attacks the State of Israel and its citizens, launching unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-to-ground missiles into our territory."
"Among the targets attacked were infrastructures used by the Houthi terrorist regime for military operations at the international airport in Sana’a and the power stations at Al-Hudaydah and Ras Kentyb, which serve as a central electricity supply for the Houthi terrorist regime. Additionally, infrastructure at the ports of Al-Hudaydah, Al-Salif, and Ras Kentyb along the western coast of Yemen was targeted."
