The US is building an embassy campus in Awkar - a Christian suburb northeast of Beirut.
Ostensibly an embassy, in reality - a huge campus almost twice the size of the Pentagon, containing 19 buildings, much larger than an embassy was supposed to be in a tiny country like Lebanon.
The construction is taking place on a 430-dunam compound and is costing the United States over a billion dollars (for comparison, the construction of the embassy in Jerusalem cost the US State Department only $60 million, according to Trump's statement in 2018).
The obvious conclusion is that such a huge embassy is actually an American intelligence facility, disguised as a diplomatic team that will collect intelligence on all Middle Eastern countries... mainly on Iran, but also on Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and possibly even on Israel.
