Last night we reported that the Houthi leader demanded that all Arab countries denounce the attack on Hodeidah and included a threat.
Here is a copy of that threat:
"The Arab regimes are required to declare their official positions regarding the Israeli aggression against Yemen, and I do not believe that any Arab regime will accept this act, whatever it may be.
Whoever does not declare his position towards the barbaric Israeli attack will expose himself, and will confirm his clear betrayal of the people."
This morning, the spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Defense informed tonight that his country has no connection or participation in the attack in Hodeidah. He added that the kingdom will not allow its airspace to be penetrated by any entity.
This is a clear defiance against the Houthis (who Saudi Arabia fought in a 7-year war with them which ended only recently).
Attacking Saudi Arabia oil sites, which the Houthis have done in the past, will be much easier than doing any damage to Israel.
In addition, it must be said that peace agreement or not, the Saudis could have easily denounced Israel in their statement, but refused to do so.
