WATCH: Released hostage Amit Soussana wins International Women of Courage Award

Amit Soussana, who was held captive by Hamas terrorists for 55 days, is one of eight women from around the world chosen to receive this year’s U.S. Secretary of State’s International Women of Courage Award.

This award honors women who have demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership. Amit's story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.

The #IWOC award ceremony will be livestreamed from Washington D.C. on April 1st.
