In a post on "Truth", president Trump said that this cannot be happening with the knowledge of the government. Meanwhile the FBI and DHS say that there is "no evidence" of a potential national security threat.
“Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country,” Trump wrote in his post. “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!! DJT.”
Reports of unidentified drones spotted in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland have raised alarms among lawmakers and the public. Prominent figures, including New Jersey state Sen. Jon Bramnick (R), Rep. Thomas Kean Jr. (R-NJ), and former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R), are urging the government to address these sightings.
In response to the growing concern, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a joint statement asserting that there is currently “no evidence” to suggest that the reported drone sightings pose a threat to national security or public safety, nor do they appear to have any foreign connections.
The FBI and DHS emphasized their commitment to the investigation, stating, “We are working closely with the New Jersey State Police to deploy personnel and technology aimed at confirming whether the reported flights are indeed drones, manned aircraft, or misidentified sightings.”
